Personable and engaging, Sham is a very popular demonstration chef much called upon for food festivals, events and fundraising causes.
Sham’s cookery demonstrations are lively and entertaining while sharing how to prepare meals using locally produced, seasonal ingredients with an Asian twist. Private groups can also enjoy a tailored demonstration in The Cottage Restaurant or a venue of their choice. Working with Synergy Cafe, Carrick on Shannon, Sham is about to launch a Summer 2014 demonstration programme spanning Irish, Thai; Indian; Pakistani; Malaysian; Chinese cuisines.
Sham brings energy and creativity to his classes as well as an infectious passion for food. Sham regularly does demonstrations for Restaurant Association of Ireland events including the RDS Hospitality Expo and Bloom. He also works regularly with Calor Gas and gave a series a demonstrations at Catering Expo. Closer to home, Sham is a lead instigator of the Taste of Carrick event held in early June and hosts a series of cookery demonstrations at this busy food celebration.
